Sencha is one of the most traditional styles of Japanese tea.
At Urushibata Tea, we produce sencha while respecting the character of the land, cultivar, and season.
Our teas are produced mainly in Shizuoka, Japan.

Fukamushi was born here Makinohara in 1950
Rather than mass production, we value balance, clarity of flavor, and the natural character of the tea leaf.

At Urushibata Tea, we work with tea houses, cafés, restaurants, and specialty tea partners around the world.
As a small producer, we value quality and long-term relationships over volume.
