Message from the Tea Master
To bring out its full aroma, I allowed the freshly harvested leaves to wither overnight in bamboo baskets. Zairai trees—each grown from seed—carry their own unique character. While they are difficult to cultivate and yield very little, they offer a rich and deeply complex flavor that cannot be replicated. This tea has no commercial scale; rather, it is part of my life’s work—an ongoing pursuit of purity, place, and personal expression through tea.
