Production Process
Plucking: Large, mature tea branches are pruned using branch shears.
Cleaning: Moss and weeds are manually removed from the surface of the tea trees.
Cutting: The tea branches are fed into a chipper for fine chopping.
Sorting: Tea branches and leaves are sorted separately.
Roasting: The sorted tea branches and leaves are roasted separately using a
wood-fired drum stove. After roasting, the materials are spread out to cool and then
blended together.
Suggested Preparation:
Kyusu Style
Water Temperature: 100°C
Steeping Time: 2 minutes for each infusion.
Amount: 4 grams of tea leaves per 200 ml of water.
Kettle or Pot Style
Amount: 10 grams of tea leaves per 1 liter of water.
Boiling Time: About 10 minutes.
